Tempo Crucial

At the start of the season, Wolves manager Mick McCarthy said he would be looking to Nigerian International Seyi George Olofinjana to chip in with 10 goals this season.

He hasn't quite got there yet, but the six goals he has scored so far this season put him as Wolves joint top scorer, and their value has been much greater than even Mick McCarthy could have envisaged last year.

His season has gone from strength to strength, and he has gone someway to dispelling the 'fragile' moniker attributed to him by some whilst playing with a broken bone in his back.

The visit of West Brom on Sunday should see a high octane game which Seyi believes could suit Wolves, and help them get the best start possible.

"It is very important to get a good start because it sets the tempo for the game. If you look at the Luton game we started very well - we had a high line, played a lot of the game in their half and scored early on," he told the E&S.

The midfield battle will be a key factor on Sunday and Seyi will be in the thick of the action.

And The Throstles will need to watch out for the Nigerian Eagle when the feathers start to fly.
