20 Teams Watching Kightly. Probably

Yet another story emerged yesterday stating that a Premiership side are tracking Wolves winger Michael Kightly.

The People claim that Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has joined growing number of admirers keeping tabs on on the Essex youngster.

Here at Olofin Towers we're getting more than a little tired of reading these kind of reports.

It is patently obvious that a number of Premiership managers have been impressed by Kights form.

The simple fact that Sir Alex Ferguson tried to hijack his £25,000 move to Wolves will have made many take note of his name and start to watch his progress.

So it is probably fair to say that most, if not all of the current Premiership managers would be interested in stealing him from Wolves.

The fact of the matter is, he believes Mick McCarthy is the best manager in The Championship, and there is an obvious bond forming between Wolves new wing wonder and their fans.

So whilst they may be interested, and they may love to sign him, while Mick McCarthy still reigns and while Kightly is under contract, any manager, Premiership or otherwise will have to stick to watching him carve defences open happy in the knowledge they didn't have the faith to splash £25,000 on our high flying Kights.

We did. He's ours. Hands off.

There was a young fella called Kightly, big managers watch him (quite rightly), but Alex and co, will be told where to go: for McCarthy, he's scoring twice nightly.
