'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Marvellous Matt Amazed

Wolves sensational 'keeper Matt Murray has paid tribute to the way the fans got behind their team in the black country derby.

It was a return to fortress Molineux, a baying intimidating arena for visiting sides with the travelling Baggies fans drowned out for almost the entire ninety minutes which spurred thE players on to glory against their local cousins.

"We knew it was going to be a difficult game because Albion are a quality side, but the atmosphere was unbelievable and our fans really got behind us throughout the game.' he said.

Six wins on the bounce is an achievment for any side, and puts the team one win away from equalling Dave Jones 2001/2 sides seven in a row.

Matt didn't play a part in that season, which stuttered and failed in teh play off semi's but is aware that it will take that kind of form to get Wolves promoted this campaign.

"Ever since I've been at Wolves I can't think of another run like it. We just have to make sure that this result now doesn't count for nothing and that we go on to a difficult game at Coventry tomorrow and perform in the right way.'
