Late Decision On Murray

There are still fears that in form 'keeper Matt Murray may miss the weekend's clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Mat jarred his knee in the 2-1 loss to Coventry and initial reports stated that there was no serious damage, and Matt would be fit, but now manager Mick McCarthy isn't so sure.

Talking to the club's official site the manager he said :

'Matt's problem has settled down but we are not in a rush to make a decision. We hope he'll be ok but if not we'll have to do something else.'

'If Matt isn't right we have the Jan Budtz and the option of bringing Wayne back,'

'I've already called Jim Gannon (Stockport manager) and warned him to make contingency plans in case we have to do that.'

Losing Matt at this stage of the season wouldn't be catastrophic, but it would certainly make many Wolves fans fear for the worst.

But with 'the record breaker' as Mick McCarthy call him waiting in the wings, perhaps things arent quite as bad as they may seem.
