'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Murray's Mint

Mick McCarthy has been given a boost ahead of Wolves trip to Hillsborough by the news Matt Murray has recovered from his jarred knee and is ready to travel with the squad to Sheffield.

Speaking to the clubs official site Matt said :

'I've trained with the boys today and I feel fine.

'The gaffer is happy for me to play and I want to be involved and help put Tuesday night behind us.

'It wasn't a good game for us against Coventry and we want to put that right tomorrow.

'It's going to be tough though, Sheffield are a good side. But we want to finish the season as strongly as possible.'

And with Matt between the sticks they have the best possible chance of doing that.

The news will also be music to the ears of Stockport County manager Jim Gannon who can now count on the services of record breaking youngster Wayne Hennessey.
