'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Not So Saintly Now

Saints goalkeeper Kelvin Davis' appeal over his red card for violent conduct against Stoke has been dismissed, meaning he misses Sants trip to Molineux next Saturday.

Davis was charged following video evidence coming to light that appeared to show him kicking Potters striker Jon Parkin during Southamptons 2-1 defeat last Saturday.

He will serve a three match ban missing Saints Colchester, Wolves and Luton matches.

George Burley will now be forced to field Polish youngster Bartosz Bialkowski as a replacement for the in form Davis.

'It is a big blow to have Kelvin suspended because he was outstanding against Cardiff last Tuesday. ' Burley told the club's official site.
