McCarthy Eyes Cork Star

McCarthy Eyes Cork Star

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy and assistant Ian Evans took the opportunity to run the rule over upcoming Irish star Roy O`Donovan during last night`s Setanta Sports Cup meeting of St Patrick`s Athletic and Cork City in Dublin.

O'Donovan has scored 16 goals in his last 17 appearances and attracted a failed £500,000 bid from Hull in January.

As well as scouts from Leicester, Crystal Palace and Celtic, McCarthy and Evans watched O`Donovan's Cork City go down 1-0 to Athletic.
