Stephen Ward has been a revelation since signing from Bohemians for an eircom League record fee.
An instant hit with the fans, he has risen to the challenge of Championship football, but thinks that his biggest challenge is still ahead of him. Wolves trip to The Stadium Of Light.
'It's as big a test as we could be facing because of the form Sunderland have been in.' he said. 'They're absolutely flying and you can imagine what the atmosphere is going to be like up there.
'I suppose it's the ultimate test in this division at the moment, although we've had great wins already at Derby and Preston and done well in many other away games.'
Wolves will have to do more than just doing well if they are to take anything of Roy Keane's surprise promotion chasers on Saturday.
