The one time firebrand has developed into a capable manager on the verge of winning promotion in his first season as a gaffer.
Where once he may have been calling for a fiery reception for returning former players, he's slighly more sanguine these day
This weekend, Sunderland welcome back pld boys Neil Colllins, Jody Craddock and Gary Breen, and Keane is hoping their reception is a warm one.
'They were all good servants for the club and I hope they get a good reception, I just hope they don't do well against us.' he told the SAFC official site.
We'll agree to differ on that last point Roy.
