Lescott Craves Tough Test Ahead

No one was more excited than Joleon Lescott when Man Utd's name was pulled out of the hat for the FA Cup fourth round draw. Lescott was cruelly denied the opportunity to test himself in The Premiership when double knee surgery sidelined him for over a year

'Everyone wants to play against the best to be honest, it's how you judge yourself.' he said to Wolves World today.

He's also aware of the potential pitfalls that could arise should The Brewers do the unthinkeable.

' We'd be the big boys then, and theres the potential banana skin,' he said, and added

'but on the other hand, we'd be looking to get an upset too if we get the bigger team.'

It's a sign of the confidence in Glenn Hoddle's squad that the players are looking forward to what should be their toughest test of the season so far.

It is also United's only realistic chance for silverware this term, and Sir Alex will probably choose to field a more conventional looking side than the one started against Burton Albion. But whatever side United bring, reputations will be on the line, and the FA Cup is no respecter of club honour rolls and former glory.
