Miller Exit Not Certain-UPDATED

Glenn Hoddle hasn't given up all hope of Kenny Miller signing a new contract. Just yet. Miller has turned down several offers of a new deal at Molineux ,and many believe his leaving a foregone conclusion already. Asked what kind of price there was on Miller after Sheffield Uniteds failed bid Hoddle told Skysports

'"At the end of the day, if there is a club out there that wants to take Kenny, that he's interested in, and we're interested in because the price is right, that would have to be something we would think about. But it would have to be something that would turn our heads."

"The situation where we are, seventh in the league, trying for that play off position, trying to get ourselves going on a real good run, we need players like Kenny to be around and I'm happy for him to stay."he added

Miller, who was on the transfer list for over a year at his own request has turned down all offers of a new contract so far. But Hoddle still thinks there might be one thing that could change his mind

"We've offered numerous contracts to Kenny, the back end of last year as well, but the lad in his opinion, and quite rightly so, wants to keep his options open" Hoddle added. Going on to say

"I wouldn't be surprised if come the end of the season, we're in The Premiership, that would be fantastic, and Kenny might end up resigning with us, I think thats an option thats still available, but we will see. We'll have to wait see what offers are there on the table now, in January, and at the end of the season."
