Wolves Closing On Pole

Jez Moxey could have got his man. Thats according to the agent handling the deal, Karol Glomb who is at the heart of the transfer negotiations.

'We have met the Wolves official who is responsible for financial matters, which proves how seriously they are taking this matter,' said Glomb. 'They made a first bid of 950,000 Euros, a second of 1.4million Euros and have now lodged a third offer.'

That third offer is said to be 1,8million Euro's, representing a phenomenal return on Elche's investment.

'I can't say how much it is for but it is a considerable sum and a good deal for both clubs.' Glab adds.

And then comes the most positive sign yet that Wolves have their man.

'Things are definitely heading in the right direction and I am counting on Elche finally agreeing a sale.'

At some point Frankowski is going to have to climb off the fence and openly state whether he wants the move or not. Had he done that initially, proceedings may have moved at a more agreeable rate.

As it stands, the offer has always been judged a hostile one as Frankowski has been keen to make sure that he is seen as a comodity, being haggled over. Not an ambitious empoyee seeking a bigger stage.

It may be time for the official Frankowski line of 'I'm happy in Elche.' to change into a less opaque 'I am happy to go to Wolverhampton.'
