Pair In Bitter Sweet Call Up

Wolves pair Andy Keogh and Darren Potter have seen their recent hard work rewarded with a call up to Steve Staunton's Ireland sqaud to take on Ecuador and Bolivia later this month.

Thats the good news.

the bad news is the timing.

Both friendlies, staged in America will fall just before the Coca Cola Championship Play Off Final. The first being played on Wednesday, May 23rd against Ecuador at the Giants Stadium (New York), and the second against Bolivia on Saturday, May 26th:at the Gillette Stadium (Boston.

Should Wolves make the final, there is a potential clash in store between Stan and Mick McCarthy if Staunton insists on calling up the Wolves pair meaning they would not make the clubs biggest ever match.

cannot see staunton insisting they went to the games if you make the final ... especially with it being friendlies as well ! well done on the call ups though !
