Ganea Leaving?

Vio Ganea is weighing up his options according to his agent, Gary Williams.

Out of contract at the end of the season, and with Coventry, Cardiff and Leeds all monitoring developments, Ganea is said to be unsettled as Wolves wil not discuss contracts until they know which division they will play in next year.

''Wolves haven't said they don't want him, just that they don't want to talk terms until they know for definite whether they'll be playing in the Premiership or the Championship next season.' Williams said

'And if they bring in another striker - which it looks like they're going to - it depends how far down the pecking order Vio goes.' he added

With Wolves pursuit of new strikers in full flow, Williams has been listening to all offers, some from far off shores. The agent went on to say:

'There's been substantial interest from the Al Ittihad club in Saudi Arabia but it doesn't look like we'll be going any further with that.'

'But Micky Adams has said he's interested - although he hasn't got any money at the moment and would have to wait until the end of the season - while Dave Jones at Cardiff and Leeds have also said they want to take a look.'

Whether Vio stays or goes, he will always remain a fans favourite, and will always be remembered for diving into the crowd upon scoring his first goal back from injury.

If he does move in January, Hoddle will need to have his new additions in place, as with only Carl Cort, Leon Clarke, and want-away Kenny Miller left as front runners, any injuries to his attacking force would leave Wolves in a far worse situation than they are in now.
