Mcleod Agent Wants Answers

Izale Mcleods agent, Gino Culbertson has aired his unhappiness at the latest turn of events in Wolves attempts to sign his client Izale Mcleod

Wolves tabled several offers for Mcleod, and some time after the last off was made, MK Dons finally accepted.

But the message that came back from Molineux was that the club had now moved on to other targets, but they would bear in mind Mcleods availablity.

“I’m just sick and tired of all the speculation and the conflicting comments from both clubs,” said Culbertson, due to hold talks with MK Dons chairman Pete Winkleman and Danny Wilson today.

“All I am concerned about is my player, who is being distracted by all of this.'

“If Wolves feel Milton Keynes’ valuation of Izale is unreasonable, that’s up to them, but he is a quality player with tremendous potential which will undoubtedly be proved.”

The problem now, isnt so much with MK Dons valuation, more that Wolves have tired of being held to ransom. Once MK Dons realised Wolves had tabled their final offer, an about face turn was made, and suddenly that bid became acceptable.

Whether the club felt they could squeeze a few more pounds out of Jez Moxey's wallet is open to debate, but they have clearly misjudged Wolverhampton Wanderers by the way they have conducted their business.

Next time Peter Winkleman takes an age over deliberation, then publicly accepts a bid for a player, he might perhaps first check that the offer is still on the table .
