'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Full Time- Wolves 2 West Brom 3

Wolverhampton Wanderers once again found themselves on the wrong end of a five goal thriller, going down 2-3 to West Bromwich Albion.

Wolves took the lead early in the second half when Seyi Olofinjana scored at eth second attempt, but Wolves joy was short lived.

Two minutes late, slack defending for a corner found Kevin Phillips free at the far post to power home his header giving Hennessey no chance.

Little over ten minutes later, Albion took the lead when pushing players forward, Wolves left themselves short at the back and were punished when Diomanse Kamara streaked into teh Wanderers box to slot hom giving The Baggies the lead.

Wolves pressed hard for an equaliser, but as in the first half, man of the match Dean Kiely caught, parried or smothered everything thrown at him.

Albion dominated the latter stages as Wolves, visibly tired fought hard to pull level, but it was Albion cheers that rung out at the final whistle.

3-2 with 90 to play sets up a mouthwatering second tie at The Hawthorns.

It's not ideal, but it's by no means a disaster.

Once again Wolves showed the fighting spirit that has epitomised the second half of their season.

It's still wide open in The Championship Play Off Semi Final
