Jody : Injury Given The Boot

The suspension of Gabor Gyepes saw Jody Craddock return to the side against Luton last night , and he grabbed the opportunity to impress Glenn Hoddle with both hands.

The team that scored 3 past Liverpool last weekend were restricted to a handfull of chances, and a set piece goal, with Jody nullifying the threat presented by Luton's top scorer Steven Howard for a vast majority of the game.

So far though, Jody's season has been less than perfect. Its a statistical fact that when Jody plays, Wolves perform better, but his appearances have so far been limited due to a recurring niggling calf injury.

But now he thinks he might have got to the heart of his injury nightmare. Or at least the sole.

'We think it was down to my boots.' He told the Express and Star

'I'm not sure how my bio-mechanics work but I changed boots at the start of the season at exactly the same time I started to get the injury.' he added

'We tried everything else to solve it but it just kept coming back.

'So all I did, as well as having treatment, was change my boots back to the ones I was wearing last year and touch wood it's all cleared up and I've had no further problems at all.'

Which is great news for Jody, and great news for the team.
