8 On Their Way Out

Mick McCarthy has started his summer clear out by placing four players on eth transfer list, and releasing four as well.

There will be no new contracts for 'keeper Michael Oakes, injury ravaged Carl Cort or memory man Rohan Ricketts.

Craig Davies' loan from Verona has ended, and Wolves will not be pursuing a more permanent dal.

Jackie McNamara also looks set to leave, having known for sometime that he would not be offered a new deal, and looks set to sign for Aberdeen.

McCarthy has transfer listed Jemal Johnson, Denes Rosa, Jamie Clapham and Tomasz Frankowski, currently on loan to Tenerife.

There has already been contact made with several Premiership sides regarding the loan of several young up and coming stars, as well as initial interests being shown in permanent signings as Mick McCarthy looks to build on the success of this seasons campaign.

With Gabor Gyepes, Jamie Clapham and Jackie Mac all leaving Molineux, defence has to be a priority for McCarthy who has proven no slouch in the transfer market so far.

"I want to bring new players in - no question about that. So I told all the lads before they left yesterday that some will be leaving and some will come in. That's the way it is." he told the club's official site.
