Cameron Exit?

In what appears to be a mid season clear out, Colin Cameron has been told he can leave Wolverhampton Wanderers.

His agent Jim McArthur has said

''Glenn Hoddle informed myself and Colin that he can leave the club,'

'They are willing to let him leave on a free transfer if he can find himself another club this month.

'If not, Colin will continue to fight for his place at Molineux.

'There are number of Championship clubs and some Scottish sides who are interested in Colin.'

Cameron has been an excellent servant to the club, and has never shown less than total commitment to the Wolves cause. News of his potential imminent departure will sadden most who support the club.

Wolves signed the former Hearts captain two weeks into the 2001/02 season for 1.75m.

His Wolves career has been blighted by injuries, but his marrauding, attacking style, driving into eth box from midfield will long be rememberd by Wolves fans.

He has made 167 appearances for the club including substitutions, and scored 24 goals.
