Olofinjana :Injury, Not Form

News of Seyi Olofinjana's ommision from the Nigerian squad for The African Nations Cup came as a bitter blow to the player, and a surprise to many Wolves fans.

Although Olofinjana hasn't enjoyed the happiest of seasons, it was thought that the midfield giant would still be included in the Super Eagles campaign.

THe Nigerian FA have since said that the reason bedind his being dropped was not linked to a lack of first team football, but due to a back problem that has been hampering him for some time.

With no similar statement from within Molineux, it's not known how long he has been carrying the injury, or of it is the reason for his lack of appearances this term.

But with Wolves seemingly in the process of a mid season clear out, Olofinjana's future at the club still hangs in the balance
