Elche Search For New Striker?

Reports from Spain today suggest that the ongoing will he, wont he saga of the Tomasz Frankowski affair might not be entirely finished.

Although, hardly surprisingly not confirmed by the club, rumours are circulating that Elche are feverishly searching for a forward replacement for the Polish hitman.

The nature of the negotiations to date does tend to point to proceedings far from being over.

Last week Frankowski earned a rebuke from the Elche President Jose Sepulchre for what he thought was a lack of commitment to the Elche cause.

This followed a statement from Karol Glomb, a Polish agent who despite his claims, does not directly represent Frankowski.

Frankowski's agents immediately called a press conference to state he had never courted a deal, and was fully committed to helping Elche earn promotion.

It is well known that Frankowski is not completely settled in Spain. His family are not happy there, and despite Sepulchres cries that the club have done everything in their power to help him settle, and they have done , no one is entirely convinced.

There are 15 days left in the current transfer window, and its fair to say this story will continue to offer twists and turns until either Frankowski is a Wolves player, or February comes.

Realistically, King Kanute had more chance of stopping the sea, than predicting which it will be.
