Wolves In For Sharp

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has made his first confirmed foray into the transfer market since Steve Morgan took over the club, tabling a bid for Scunthorpe's Billy Sharp.

Whether the undisclosed bid exceeds Norwich's £1.5 million already offered is unknown.

Competition for Sharp's signature is bound to be fierce, but Wolves may have an ace up their sleeve in his former strike partner Keogh.

The pair formed a formidable pairing at Scunthorpe where Sharp netted 32 times in 50 appearances last season, with Keogh scoring 7 times prior to his January move to Molineux.

About time too! Keogh and Sharp together would be a formidable strike pair

Yep - totally agree - would love them both at the Mol !!

At least he will know how his strike partner plays and it wouldn't take long for them to form a good partnership.

rejoining an old strike partner doesnt always work, see Yorke and Cole at Blackburn!!! Good luck to him if he signs though!
