Jez Moxey isnt a man to mince his words. And when it comes tofinancial irregularities in football, he believes zero tollerance is the only option
'The football authorities ought to ban anybody who can be proved to have taken money illegally,' Moxey told the Express and Star
'And they should be banned from being involved in football for the rest of their lives.' he added
Wolves have managed to cut the ammount of money the club pays to agents in half, to a little more than £150,000 over the last 6 months.
So Wolves fans can be safe in the knowledge that whatever deals Jez is working on, all payments will be above board.
But there will be others in the game concerned that Newells claims may prompt closer inspection of how past transfers have been conducted.
Whether they are brought to book by the FA though, is another matter.
