Huddlestones Last Stand
Saturday will almost certainly see Tom Huddlestone pull on the Old Gold and Black for the very last time.
Martin Jol, having sold 3 players surplus to requirement has already indicated Tom will be required at White Hart Lane, and Glenn Hoddle seems resigned to the fact as well.
'Nothing is decided yet but the decision is Tottenham's and I'm thinking that after Saturday he will be leaving us.' Hoddle told the clubs official site.
Huddlestones impact was instant, adding steel to the midfield sitting in front of the defence, with his best performance coming against Derby County, his former club.
He also bagged his first senior goal against The Rams in Wolves 3-0 victory, a nice memento of his time here at Molineux.
But what now for Huddlestone? Will Martin Jol hold him in reserve, as before, or will he feel Huddlestone has shown he is finally ready to break into The Lilywhites team?
Whatever the Dutchman decides, Glenn Hoddle believes that the advantage of Huddlestone being at Molineux wasn't just a one sided arrangement.
'He's benefited from his time here. He's a good young player and one Spurs will be wanting for the future.' Hoddle observed.
Here at Vital Towers, we'll be sad to see him go, and wish him all the best for the future.
Keep up the good work Tom, and don't be a stranger.
