'Lewis Really Wants To Stay'

The 'saga' regarding Lewis Gobern and him signing a new contract is still going on, yet big George Ndah states, and believes, 'he wants to be part of what is going on at Molineux at the moment and is keen to sign a new contract if Wolves want him'. Is this true? Or as many Wolves fan have commented - is he now just considering the contract as no well known clubs have come in for him? Is this homegrown youngster just after the cash - or are there genuine reasons why the lad isn`t signing this new deal? We will not know until his future is sorted, however, like me, I`m sure you will agree - if he doesn`t want to be at Wolves, as he is clearly not going to be there when we reach the Premiership, and I don`t believe he has the cut to get into McCarthy`s new team of 'wonder-kids` this season either, maybe he should take the chance of signing for a different club to further his bright future while he can.

Lewis made 12 appearances this season for Wolves and scored twice before being struck by injury and fitness problems.

I do hope that if he does sign a new contract, he will be given another chance, as he did look sharp when he came on last season - and has that ability which every club loves - of running at defenders and getting in the box - sometimes…

However if he does leave - all the best for the future, and we wish you well.

Really hope Gobern stays, and great that he's represented by George, who is one of the most genuinely nice footballers I've ever met.
