Wolves Snap Up Winger

Wolves have captured the signing of Gillingham winger Matt Jarvis.

A fee has been agreed between the two sides for the 21 year old, avoiding the need for arbitration.

Wolves have completed the deal despite close interest in the youngster from the likes of Charlton, Nottingham Forest and Plymouth, with Jarvis signing for two years, with an option on a third..

The decising factor seems to be have been that man McCarthy again, who has become something of a Pied Piper for young hungry talent at Molineux.

"I just want to get out and do the best I can for Wolves. I've spoken to the manager Mick McCarthy and he seems like a man who's very keen on encouraging you." Jarvis told the clubs official site

'I delayed my holiday to complete the signing, and I'm looking forward to coming back for pre-season training.'
