Sharp Talks Given Go Ahead

Wolves have finally been given permission to talk to strike target Billy Sharp.

Following a day of discussions in Sheffield Sharp will now meet with Wolves representatives to be shown the clubs facilities, and discuss personal terms.

Sharp could do a lot worse than the plush Compton training facility which hasn't failed to impress a target yet, and has the example of Michael Kightly if he needs to know how he can expect to have his potential rewarded if he makes his mark at Molineux.

Though with several clubs now openly in the running for the twenty one year old's signature, competition will still be fierce for the player who found the net 30 times last season, firing Scunthorpe into the Championship in the process.
