'If It's Football, It's Vital'

One Horse Race

A common factor in modern transfer dealings is protracted negotiations, with interested club's played off against each other by players and agents intent on getting the best personla terms and largest transfer fee's available.

Not so in the case of Wolves' signing of Freddy Eastwood.

Despite reports to the contrary, there was only ever one team the former Shrimpers hitman talked to, and once he had done so, his mind was made up.

Talking exclusively to Wolves World he revealed that as soon as he had met Mick McCarthy and seen the club's facilities he not only felt at home, but was instantly ready to commit to the Molineux men.

All this despite Charlton Athletic showing on/off interest, and the threat of a bidding war in the air.

Freddy is obviously an honourable man of his word and shows just the kind of character Mick McCarthy looks for.

And he is just the kind of player Wolves fans take to their hearts.

Welcome to the club Freddy.

he'll be a good signing for you guys. I hope you decide to rest him for the Carling Cup clash at Molineux!

You've got yourself a real bargain there!

all new signings come out with "there was only ever club that i wanted to join". he's hardly gonna say "well i quited fancied several other clubs, but they didnt come in for me, and i didnt wanna stay where i was, so you'll do until a better comes in"
Dales_Dad
I agree Dales Dad, but where I think this differs is that he didn't even talk to any other clubs after speaking to MM.

Welcome to the Molineux Freddie, you won't regret it.
