'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Glenn Hoddle Looks Ahead To Saturday

Wolves travel to The New Den on Saturday. And Glenn Hoddle is fully aware of the difficult task ahead of his side against David Tuttle's much improved Millwall side.

'The Old Den, the New Den, Dirty Den, whatever it's called, is a tough place to go and play and they've got some real characters down there.” He said

'It won't be any different tomorrow but we're certainly not setting our sights on a draw and will go out to try and win the game as we always do away from home.'

Wolves have often performed better on the road than at home this season, but Hoddle isnt particularly bothered about the manner in which his side wind these days. He just wants three points.

Confidence is high at the club following back-to-back victories. Something Hoddle wants to capitalise on.

'We won there last year, we nicked it just at the end with Seol's goal and we will go there this year feeling confident, in the sense that we have won two matches back to back, one in the Cup and one in the League, and we are looking to turn that into some sort of a run.'

Wolves lost their home game with Millwall back in September when, pushing for a late winner, they were caught on the break 4 minutes into injury time.

Any more slip-ups like that and Wolves promotion chances could disappear off the map. Something constantly at the back of Hoddle's mind.

Another win should boost team moral ahead of the FA Cup 4th round tie with Manchester United, but Hoddle isn’t thinking that far ahead yet. For him, all that matters right now is Saturday afternoon.

'We have to go and put on a performance and work to pick up a result that is going to help us start challenging for places in that play-off zone.
