Frankowski Considering Terms
A report in todays Polish press suggests Spanish side Elche CF and Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a fee for Tomasz Frankowski, and he is now discussing terms with the English club.
The transfer that has been dragged out for almost a month now appears to be entering the final stages.
Frankowski is quoted as saying :
“In Spain everybody are sure that I've already signed the contract. but - for now- that's not true. Yes, the clubs agreed the transfer fee, but I'm still negotiating my personal contract. I'm already lost in details. My manager knows more, but from what I know the contract will be for 2,5 years.'
Earlier this year, Franklowski was quoted as saying he was aware of a Wolves offer, and that the terms were very agreeable, representing a 20% increase on his current deal in Spain.
With both clubs happy with the fee on the table, and Frankowski apparently eager to play in England it may now onl;y be a matter of dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s before Glenn Hoddle has a new striker.
