Sammy Moves On

Sammy Clingan’s on off transfer to Nottingham Forest looks back on again.

The Northern Irish U21 international is due to have a medical at the City Ground today ahead of a move across the midlands for a nominal fee.

In what might be a busy day for the club, Maurice Ross’ future is also on the agenda.

Ross, who has impressed in Wolves recent matches is due to return to Sheffield Wednesday midweek.

But Wolves are keen to hang on to the young scot until the end of the season.

Speaking to the club’s official site Jez Moxey said

“We have made Maurice an offer and talks will continue over the next couple of days”

Ross has certainly added much needed width to the Wolves side since Glenn Hoddle reverted to 3 centre backs and has settled into his role as a wing back well. As Glenn Hoddle's side finally starts to take shape Ross looks set to feature in Wolves new look lineup.
