'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Freddy Impresses Tosh

There are few names in Welsh football bigger than John Toshack.

Outspoken, and some times downright arrogant, few can claim to have a better understanding in the art of creating, and scoring goals.

To impress the man who scored 96 times for Liverpool, won 3 League titles, 1 FA Cup, A Super Cup and 2 UEFA Cups isn't easy.

Talking to the Welsh media ahead of Wales friendly with Bulgaria, Toshack gave his thoughts on Wolves striker Freddy Eastwood, set for place in the starting line up.

"I`m very pleased with what I`ve seen so far from Freddy, he looks very sharp," he said

"We can see already in training that he`s got something a little different from what we already have. Of course he gets goals, but we don`t want to burden him completely with that, we have to get goals from other areas as well.

"But you can see from his movement how he scores his goals, his link-up play is very good as well and he`s got a very good attitude. He knows what his job is.'

I'm Welsh and I love my country I do. I hope Wayne and Fredster do the business. My day would become perfect if Paddy was Welsh. 2 Home Boi's in da house. I reckon he is a Southern Counties wuss though, thats what he looks like. Still adore him loads though
