Kightly Efforts Rewarded
Michael Kightly has impressed England U21 manager Stuart Pearce enough for inclusion in the travelling squad to play Montenegro and Bulgaria on September the 7th and 11th.
Should he participate in either, he would be elligible to play in the Euro U21 finals in 2009, held in Sweden.
'Obviously I'm thrilled at being called up.' A delighted Kightly told the clubs official site. ' It's a real honour to play for your counry.'
Congratulations Michael on your just reward for your efforts in Old Gold.
