'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hoddle's Tunnel Talk

Glenn Hoddle is a master at mind games.

And its strength of mind he'll be looking for on Sunday when he sends his side out to meet Manchester United.

'This is a game which can be won or lost in the tunnel,' said Hoddle.

'Because to win a football match you have to have a belief in yourself it can be done.”

As a player Glenn Hoddle never lacked self belief. No matter who he played, he thought he'd win.

It's that kind of steely determination he's after. And he thinks that his squad certainly have it.

'You see it a lot with teams playing against Brazil - the opposition just don't have a belief they can be beaten.” he says

'But there's a strong belief down here we can cause an upset.

'We're at home and we're going out to try and win the game but we have to make sure we play really well.'

That's all fans can ask of the players that they put their faith in every time they cross the white line.

A Molineux full house is sure to provide just the atmosphere they need to have the belief that not on any, just on this given Sunday, they rise to the occasion and give it their all.
