Wolves Defender Blow

Wolves defensive unit has been dealt a blow by the news that Rob Edwards is sit out the next month an half after picking up a knee injury inlast nights reserve match against Walsall.

Edwards, who built an impressive central partnership with Neill Collins last season was withdrawn midway through the first half of the 2-1 defeat following a late challenge from Troy Deeney.

'Rob has damaged his medial ligament which normally means four to six weeks recovery,' Mick McCarthy told the clubs official site.

'It's a disappointment for him but he'll work hard to get back.'

I`m sorry but this latest injury underlines IMO the folly of not adding a couple of pacy quality defenders during the summer break...
