'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Golden Future

Wolverhampton Wanderers ex captain Jody Craddock made his return to Molineux on Saturday following a brief loan spell to Stoke City.

Stepping into the back four like he had never been away, he helped Wolves to record their first clean sheet at home this season, but now his eye is on a bigger target - a new contract extension.

Having won over some of the most critical fans in the land, he's now focussing on impressing the man that counts - Mick McCarthy.

'I want to be playing first team football and I want to be doing it at Wolves," he told the E&S.

"My contract is up at the end of the season and it`s up to me to perform when I`m out there to get myself a new deal."
