Olofin Pens New Deal

The matter of Seyi George Olofinjana's future has finally been settled, with the Nigerian midfield maestro penning a new deal that ties him to Wanderers until the summer of 2011.

Speaking to the clubs official site he said

'I had no doubts whatsoever about signing.

'I want to play in an environment where I am liked and made to feel welcome. I have family living here. I can't ask for any more.'

There are those outside of Olofin Towers that have cast doubt on the Super Eagle's commitment to the club believing he has merely been hanging out for move to a Premiership club.

Anyone that has met him though will tell you that he is a man of honour, deep principles, and his word as borne out by todays news.

His soul may belong to God, but his heart belongs to Wolverhampton.

Nice one George, here's to another four years of midfield magnificence!
