Wolves Hero To Be Honoured

Wolves are to host a 20th anniversary game in honour of goalscoring legend Steve Bull.

The match will take place at Molineux some time in the future and is part of a full year of celebrations that has the backing of everyone associated with the club past and present.

Speaking to Wolves World Jez Moxey says

'Steve has done more than most over the years to help Wolves both on the field and in the community. We are delighted to be supporting him during his anniversary year and hope to finalise the details on when the game will take place in the near future.'

Bully made 561 appearances for the club finding the net a phenomenal 306 times, including two 50+ goal seasons.

He currently works in an ambassadorial capacity for Wanderers as well as amongst other things, being the patron of the childrens charity Promise Dreams who will benefit greatly from the year long celebrations.

'I'm delighted the club has given me this game and that my official partner will be Promise Dreams. It's a special charity that does a great deal to help serious and terminally ill children.' said Steve.

Great news for Steve and his chosen charity partner. And great news for Wolves fans who will get a fantastic chance to pay homage to their hero.

And what better place to do it than the place he scored so many of those goals, Molineux stadium?

It's sure to be a fun packed evening and Vital Wolves will bring you further details as they are released.
