Injury Sidelines Goalkeeper Stack

On loan goalkeeper Graham Stack will not be available for the rest of the year, or indeed the remainder of his loan spell after surgery on a damaged cartilage, damage sustained in training last week.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper is on loan from Reading, with the loan due to run until January 2nd, so he has no chance of playing again during this spell, although the chances that he would have anyway were slim.

It is not known what will happen with Stack regarding his loan, and a possible extension when he returns to full fitness. In the meantime Carl Ikeme, just back from an injury of his own, will act as backup.
