Sammy Lee on his way?

Sunday newspaper reports suggest that Wolves owner, Steve Morgan, may move to bring in Sammy Lee as manager should Mick McCarthy fail to turn around Wolves' ailing fortunes.

Reports suggest that Morgan and McCarthy had a falling out after the recent Preston game and have barely spoke since. As a result, as well as Lee, Morgan has also touted Paul Ince as a possible successor although it is unlikely that Ince would want to surrender his position at MK Dons who are flying high at the top of Division 2.

Any move for Lee may be unpopular amongst the Wolves faithful who will be mindful of his failures at Bolton after taking over from former manager Sam Allardyce. Lee was relieved of his job after just 6 months.
