Edwards In For Medical

David Edwards has finally arrived at Molineux for a medical, subject to which he will become Wolves second signing of the transfer window.

A delighted Mick McCarthy told the club's officials site :

'We've been watching David since he played at Shrewsbury.

'He's done very well for Luton and the FA Cup draw with Liverpool showed that he can play at that level.

'It backed up all the scouting reports we have on him.'

The midfielder will sign a three and a half year contract for an undisclosed sum, thought to be in the region of 650,000.

The 21 year old has scored 4 goals in 25 appearances for Luton Town this year.
