The Third Man

Wolves new midfield signing David Edwards has signalled his intent to help fire them back up the league table.

The 24 year old, signed from cash strapped Luton aims to add some firepower from the middle of the park, something Wolves have lacked all season.

'I love to break forward - whenever the ball is out wide - I want to get in there and score goals," he told the E&S.

"Whenever crosses come in, I want to be there as third striker trying to get on the end of things.

"I always set myself a target at the start of the season and I`ve six already so I`m looking to make that double figures."

With Seyi Olofinjana away on International duty, Edwards may get the chance to make his mark against Scunthorpe on Saturday as Wolves search for a badly needed win on the road.
