Good As Their Word

Good As Their Word

THey said they came to score goals, and they did just that.

Two goals from Wolves new signings David Edwards and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake fired Wolves to their first league win in 9 against relegation strugglers Scunthorpe.

As good as his word, Edwards found the net after only 8 minutes, turning in the box to slot home underthe body of Scunthorpe 'keeper Joe Murphy.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake added a second shortly after the break, latching on to defence splitting Edwards pass from his own half, shooting low from the centre of the penalty area.

The win come as a much needed shot in the arm for Mick McCarthy's men desperate to re-establish their promotion credentials.

2 new faces, two goals.

Mick McCarthy can't ask for much more than that.
