Eastwood off the mark

Wolves thumped home 4 second half goals to secure a win on their opening game in Ireland. Matt Murray made his comeback from injury in the game. The team for the opening period

Murray Edwards Ward Breen Mulgrew Jarvis Henry Potter Ward Keogh Eastwood.

The first half remained goalless. Darren Ward again impressed with a commanding display at the back. Wolves then finally found their scoring touch and it was Freddie Eastwood that scored the first. The 2nd came from Bothroyd with an impressive long range lob. Nice start for Freddy. Sounds like an Eastwood-Bothroyd partnership has some legs

Game was a bit dull until Bothroyd came on. He changed it all with a storming 30 appearance.

I think it's demonstrated the benefits of having two goalscoring strikers up top, and not simply a hitman and provider. Its early days yet, but I can see the pair of them terrifying defences
Stuart Smith
I still think there has to be regular place for Keogh...
