Did we miss Jarvis....OH YES!!. From my perspective we spent too much time knocking the ball around in midfield. I suspect this was a hangover from losing Jarvis. Unfortunately Jarvis has been our outlet for many years and not having him there nullified our ability to break forward. Peszko doesn't look as effective on the left and spent a lot of his time moving into the middle. This left ward very exposed on the left. We also missed Henry as Davis didn't have the best of games. Doumbias 10 minute injury didn't help as it gave Derby a power play which put them on top in game terms. Hopefully the new players will bring an injection of pace and skill back to the team.

Replacement for Fletcher......my tip: Michael Owen
Rustmonkey
Funnily enough the Michael Owen rumour is doing the rounds. He did say he would not play for a team outside the PL. I see that is not exactly working out for him right now.
New York City Wolf
Probably just a silly rumour but wouldn't be a bad shout. Could think of worse players.
