"Slip Sliding Away.... Slip Sliding Awayyyyyyyy...." Not enough resource brought in, whilst we've knocked relegation fears on the head, we've also confirmed we're just not in the hunt for promotion with the current crop, Sako once again the only shining light, and once again (where are ya subway) Siggy Woeful !! More staff come February or this is will remain a mid-table team.

Didn't get to the match as my brother and his wife came round so cannot comment on the performance of the team. It seems as though we dominated Charlton in the first half but could not get the two goal cushion. Then, typically, we gave away a goal and could not knock in another one. I won't be able to get to the next home match either as we have a street outing to a local pub. I will be going to Watford however. I'll report back on that one. We are still OK and will improve over time but it's a bit frustrating to lose points from winning positions!

Domination and possession with No forward momentum is gonna cost us big time. I don't object to us playing the possession game but you must a/ continue to move the ball forward b/ not give the ball away cheaply c/ expect your players to show for you by moving into good open positions. d/SHOOT!!!! You can tell by my previous that I wasn't impressed.....I really want to be positive but I am really frustrated how we can consistently be the maker of our own downfall. Charlton were to say the least...a poor side but we once again allowed them back into the game. It's ridiculous that we find it so difficult to put any team to the sword. This backing off , backing off will eventually see us punished big time. We can't defend a 1-0. Stale needs to learn this quickly and turn us into a Kevin Keegan type team. I.e. score more than the opposition because you know you will need to.

it is no coincidence Rustmonkey that "D" is in fact the Shoot key on a Fifa keyboard :)

Maybe it will get better with Peszco and Boukhari back, particularly the latter. I am hoping. The African Nations Cup over, then a final push.
