Yet again a social commitment at home prevented me fom travelling to Molineux. So, I had to make do with the Wolves blog. If following WW at the moment is always a roller-coaster ride, this one topped the lot. Once more we shoot ourselves in foot, proving ourselves incapable of holdng on to a lead but this time we added the refinement of a Henry red card shortly afterwards. Then, to prove us all wrong, we take the lead and only lose it by a highly debatable penalty kick. And then, we equalize in extra time! After going ahead twice and being pegged back, I should be unhappy. But I'm not. After all the complaints about gutless performances, our lads showed plenty of fight this afternoon. We may have turned the corner. We may be able to pick up points without Henry, too, which, of course, we are going to have to do for the next few games. At least, I shall be at Watford next week.

I have mixed thoughts about this match. I actually had the enjoyment of being there to see it this time. upon reflection it was a match we really should have won, to be able to draw after getting a penalty and red card against it says it all. Looking forward to us winning a couple now!

Fantastic game ... The spirit second half was fantastic, but despite the 10 man factor Brighton ripped us apart for 15/20 minutes in the second half. They missed a sitter, hit the bar and RJ made a goalline clearance. Te game should have been out of sight before the drama of the last minute. Opposition managers must tell their players to just run at the Wolves in the second half from midfield. I sit in the Billy Wright in between the half way line and 25 yard line and every second half I can remember this season this happens. Ward needs to hold his ground more because the firt 20 minutes of very second half he gets destroyed. Ironicaly my 11 year old is only yards away and woukd do a better job.
