Not great stats, where are our goals going to come from?? nice to see we manged a clean sheet though...
Patrickdoran
Despite what DS is claiming, the stats confirm what I feared while watching a report of the game, namely, that we were outplayed in all departments. We were extremely lucky to win a point and would not have done so, had Ikeme not been on top form ... again! If the manager thinks that the team does not require major surgery, he is either incompetent or under orders to make do with what he has got. We desperately need a target man in the box (only two inaccurate attempts), a midfield which can win, retain and pass the ball (JOH has to start) and several defenders. Berra and Ward have to be replaced for starters.

SB60 its not going to happen if DS thinks we dont need anyone the guy should be sacked now what a disgrace 2-3 attemps at goal not one on target and he thinks everything is all right. We dont need major surgery what do we need because the players we have are just not good enough SEB Berra pay them of and buy some players who can play.

I listened on WM and a local fan could be heard over the commentators shouting "hoof" whenever we passed the ball.

Did you miss me? Enforced leave but all is well and good, Tiny Tim made it home for Christmas and American's remain well armed in bullets and cake, equally. A short release upon return. I have missed the site and plentiful amounts of reading to catch up on. All I will say for now is that considering the guided missile aimed at relegation has been sent of course if not entirely misguided I will take these two points as long as I see three from our home game against the mighty Blackpool come Saturday. More pending, tilts cap to South Bank and fellow troops who have kept the cause alive.

Worryingly DS is starting to drop hints that we wont be signing anyone. No major surgery ??? what the * ... zero shots on goal, against a very very wasteful Wedesday ... DISGUSTING. No Signings = No Intent. WHERE HAS ALL THE MONEY GONE ????
AdMant
Admant like i said if DS thinks this is good enough and we dont need any body he should be sacked for being blind. He said he would look at the squad well after two games hes just picked the same players as MM used to with the exceptionof Sako but we dont need any new faces.Does the guy know what hes doing because if thats his assessment were in deep *****.
kiawolves
Its fairly sad, when you think that stale saw the problem and was going to replace some people in this window.... hes gone now.
Patrickdoran
The cynic in me reckons tightwad morgan got rid of solbakken so that he could keep his wallet firmly in his pocket... enter the likeable Dean Saunders who will happily do the 2Ms evil (and profitable) bidding. Ho hum, at least the motor racing season starts soon, meaning I dont have to watch those talentless wunkers do the bare minimum and drag themselves over the finish line in august... the start of what could very easily be another long long stint in the 2nd tier...
AdMant
oh and Hunt is ready to return too... We're all saved :(

NYCW: nice to see you back, though I am sorry for any disappointment you may have felt, had you expected a magical transformation in our fortunes in your absence.

Cheers Mr. Banks. Somewhat underwhelmed when the appointment was announced but he has been making the right noises and has my support. He has at least stopped the rot of one defeat after another, and it seems the players actually want to play for him which they obviously did not for SS. It was a bold move to try something different but it did not work- he walked into a ****storm and he had a proper job on his hands trying to make anything of that team, especially losing the big names at a late stage in the summer. Results meant he was never really given chance to bring in/ship out players to develop the squad he wanted or would need to successfully employ his unusual tactics. A back to basics approach is what is needed and welcome. I am glad I did not have chance to watch this game because it may have taken some shine of my impressions from the Blackburn performance. As the manager has said these points will look much better if we beat Blackpool. If we lose of course, things are not going to look so rosy. Early days, early days.
New York City Wolf
Yes, a loss against pool and things will look grim again, a win and we will be all happy. another draw? well i suppose a habbit of drawing is better than a habbit of losing...
